Privately you could buy $500,000 worth of life insurance for $20. Although this is just an example to portray the figures it is worth checking into.

Family Coverage - Families do not cost that much more then individual plans. Typically your whole family can be covered for $100 more a month this also increases production that is why employer offer it to you. Knowing your insurance protects you and your family makes you work harder and stay with that company and not fly when times get tough.
